|Main focus:||Prabodh is a qualified Biochemical Engineer and a Principal Consultant with over 25 years experience in water, energy and environmental consultancy. He has strong communication and interpersonal skills and has been involved in a wide range of business development activities and a variety of private and public sector projects. These have included projects for food, beverage, chemical and paper companies as well as for DEFRA, DECC, CT, sector associations (including FDF, Dairy UK and BBPA). His technical experience includes energy audit and analysis, techno-economic and commercial evaluation of projects, environmental management, EIA, waste management and waste treatment.
Prabodhs PhD research (1981-84) dealt with process development and economics of bioethanol and anaerobic digestion. His recent work in AD has been with municipal waste, livestock slurries, food processing waste, as well as with biomass resources (such as marine algae). In his work for the UK Government since 2005, Prabodh has been at the forefront of bioenergy and AD strategies work where he has led cost-benefit analyses and advised DEFRA and DECC on the policy and implementation measures to maximise renewable resource from agricultural, food processing and municipal wastes. Within his current role he also provides support to the companys programmes on energy policy, emission trading (e.g. CCA) and CRC.
