Main focus:Mr Owen is an accomplished Renewable Energy professional. His focus and main interest in the last three years has been in the waste water treatment and renewable energy markets. His work for a leading Scandinavian Business School, involved company specific sustainability projects and EU funded renewable energy projects, with focus on the developing Middle East North Afica 'MENA' region.

Current activity:In early 2010, Mr Owen founded Trade Cleantech - a consultancy with the aim of assisting companies to identify strategic technology partners in the environmental and renewables sectors: technologies such as waste to energy (gasification, pyrolysis, anaerobic digestion); water/waste water treatment (mechanical, biological, chemical) and solar, hydro and wind (amongst others).

Current projects include - identifying an European Technology partner (gasification) for a Canadian Waste Management Operator; and identifying global licensee country partners for a European 'waste to energy' company.

Former activity:Previously Mr Owen managed and co-ordinated business support services for start-up technology companies at Europe¿s leading Opto-electronics Incubation Center in North Wales. He has also worked in an advisory capacity for start-up and SME companies in local government.
