This five-day Study Tour is developed and led by Christof Delatter of Interafval on behalf of VVSG - the Association of Flemish Cities and Municipalities. The Programme includes seminars in legal, planning and communication issues for biological waste management plus technical tours to 3 operational mega-sites in the cities of Kortrijk, Ypres and Geel.

  • regional and international policy on biodegradable waste

  • Flanders' high separate collection rate (over 71%).
