Dr.-Ing. Peter Quicker was offered a chair by the excellence university RWTH Aachen

The head of the process engineering department of the ATZ Entwicklungszentrum for many years, Before Christmas, Dr. Peter Quicker was offered a chair by the excellence university RWTH Aachen. The RWTH Aachen is one of the leading universitary institutions in the field of engineering. With this offering of the chair "technology of raw materials for energetic utilization", Dr. Quicker deepens the knowledge he has already gained over years at the ATZ Entwicklungszentrum in the field of the energetic recycling of biomass and waste, and even brings in his competence in further research. In this field, Dr. Quicker will continue to collaborate with the ATZ Entwicklungszentrum.

Since several years Dr. Quicker has been also lecturer at Dr.-Ing. Martin Faulstich's chair "Resource and Energy Technology" and teaches "waste management", which underlines the close cooperation between the ATZ Entwicklungszentrum and the TU München.

After Dr. Martin Faulstich's successfull reorganization of the ATZ-Evus into the ATZ Entwicklungszentrum, Dr. Quicker is the second head of department who leaves for a responsible position. The former head of the department biological process engineering Dr. Stephan Prechtl has been managing director of the Stadtwerke Amberg since october 2007.
